My favorite hostel is Pension Rena in Paros, Greece. The people who run it are really friendly. The rooms are nice and it’s very clean. Also, it’s right near the beach.
Since Paros is one of my favorite islands to visit in Greece, I love staying here. The rates are great. It’s near the port, Parikia and near restaurants and w/in walking distance of shops.

My favorite hostel is HI-Mount Edith Cavell in Jasper National Park. Nothing can beat the wilderness setting, magnificant views and solitude while watching the sun etch it’s way up the face of Mt. Edith Cavell.

My favorite hostel was the Green Tortoise in Seattle, WA. It is located across the street from the Pike Place Market. Nothing like wonderfully fresh foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner within walking distance. The market is a must-see destination.

I’ve stayed in many a hostel and there are several that are near and dear to my heart, but I just stayed at The Painted Turtle Guesthouse in Nanaimo BC this week and LOVED it. My new fave! Super clean, modern, but cozy and the staff was really great. I will definitely return.

My favorite hostel is the Montara Lighthouse hostel. The dining rooms have huge picture windows looking out over the beach and coastlines. What a wonderful view to complement your meal. There is a sand beach that you can access from the property as well as rocks with crashing waves. It is also very close to Moss Beach for some of the best tidepooling around. The staff is wonderful and they make a great chai tea!
